Opportunities Grants for Cost of
Living Support - Community Led Initiatives Fund The Highland Council
Grants - Cost
of Living Support - Community Led Initiatives Fund | The Highland
Council Applications are
now invited from community groups to implement local initiatives that
will help ease the cost of living impacts within their
communities. Grants under the value of £10,000 are available. The aim of this
cost of living grant fund is to enable community groups to provide
local activities/provision that provide support to individuals and
families during the winter months. This fund will support local
initiatives to keep people warm, provide food and to enable people to
heat their living areas and live safely in their homes.
The Scottish
Veterans Fund for
2023-2024 is now open. All applications must be received by 19th
November 2022. This fund is particularly aimed at those
projects that will help the veteran's community to overcome any
disadvantage experienced as a result of service; those supporting
veterans and their families to achieve a successful transition to
civilian life; and projects that aim to make Scotland the most
attractive place to be for those leaving Service life. For more information

Employability Support Funds from Highland
Council The one-off Community
Engagement Challenge Fund is
for Highland based, constituted community organisations to apply
for funding of up to £10,000. The purpose being to
develop approaches within communities which identify residents who
would benefit from employability support services, in
particular, enabling engagement with: 1. people in
the community who wish to work but are currently not in employment or
engaged with employability support; and/or 2. people for
whom disability is a significant employability barrier; and/or 3. working
parents seeking to up-skill and develop a career path The Innovation
Challenge Fund is open to public and third sector
organisations operating in the Highlands to apply for funds of up to
£50,000 to develop innovative approaches to support people experiencing
challenges which prevent them from progressing towards and
within employment
The closing date for these funds is Monday 24th October 2022

Fund 2022-23 | Employability | The Highland Council
The Ian
Findlay Path Fund is now open. This
fund supports community groups, third sector organisations and
charities to improve local paths within and between
communities, making it easier for people to travel by walking,
wheeling, or cycling for their daily journeys. Grants are available of
between £10,000 and £100,000. Follow the link for more information.

Paths for All
The Smarter
Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) Open Fund aims
to encourage people to change their everyday travel behaviours. Grants
are available to encourage people to use public transport
or other sustainable options. Grants available are
between £5,000 and £100,000 and need to be match funded Smarter
