Caithness and Sutherland 

Community Partnership Meeting


On Thursday 30th November the core members of the Sutherland Community Planning Partnership and Caithness Community Planning Partnership held an online meeting to allow for the new members to build relationships and for stronger networks between the counties. The meeting was well attended and a provisional date has been set for early next year, to further the discussion around how the counties can support each other.


Rural Child Poverty

In March 2022, the Research organisation 'Improvement Service' received funding from the Scottish Government to explore barriers to addressing rural poverty. The liaised with rural families, including people within the Highlands and spoke to them about their lived experiences. You can find the outcome of their investigation here.
