Funding Opportunities

Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund

The Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund

 is being managed by Impact Funding on behalf of Scottish Government. 

Funded organisations must work towards achieving one or more of these four outcomes:

1. Increase the level of understanding around social isolation and loneliness, including the causes and impact of loneliness and what works to reduce it
2. Reduce social isolation and loneliness
3. Reduce the harm resulting from the effects of social isolation and loneliness
4. Increase the conditions which help to reduce social isolation and loneliness

The expression of interest stage closes on Friday 31st March 2023 at 12 noon

Historic Environment Scotland Grants

£2 million is available to communities across Scotland this year as part of a new scheme from Historic Environment Scotland (HES).

The Historic Environment Grants Programme (HEG) can support a wide range of projects which clearly relate to and will benefit Scotland’s historic environment. To be eligible, all projects will need to: 

• clearly relate to a Scottish historic environment asset (tangible or intangible); 
• be able to demonstrate how they will contribute to HES Grants Priorities; 
• offer good value for money; 
• be able to demonstrate that they are deliverable; 
• have not started (unless discussed and agreed by HES Grants Team); and 
• not already be funded by a City Heritage Trust or through any of our other funding programmes 

There are three funding streams available:

• express grants of £1,000 to £25,000,
• small grants of £25,001 to £100,000, and
• large grants of £100,001 to £500,000.

The Black Isle Farmers’ Society Educational / Vocational Bursary Scheme 2023

The Black Isle Farmers’ Society Bursary is open to young people between the ages of 16 -26 years.

 Applications are invited from people who live, study or work in the Highlands and Islands or have strong connections to the area. 

The closing date for applications to be submitted is Wednesday 15th April 2023.
