and the National Core Partners.

Funding Opportunities



Albyn Housing has a Community Fund that provides small grants to local community groups. Grants of up to £500 are available for specific community projects that benefits the local community.

The grants can be used to aid any activities that help make stronger communities. For example; improvements to a town or village hall, sports equipment or children's or pensioners parties

The Caithness & North Sutherland Fund

The Caithness & North Sutherland Fund is now open for applications.
 Funding available between £1000- £30,000

It is available to groups who live within the radius of the Dounreay Travel to Work Area.

Air Ambulance Service Consultation 


The public are being given a final opportunity to contribute to a Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) consultation which will inform the re-procurement of its Air Ambulance Service prior to its renewal.
The Air Ambulance Service, which is funded in its entirety by the Scottish Government, transfers patients living in remote, rural and island communities to and from hospital. It also provides air ambulance support to the ScotSTAR retrieval teams and responds to 999 calls in a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) role.
