    Funding Opportunities



    The Energy Redress Scheme is now open to charities that are aiming to

    • support energy consumers in vulnerable situations

     • deliver benefits to the types of consumers that were negatively impacted by the specific issues that triggered the redress payment 

    It can fund projects lasting up to two years and the minimum grant request for the Small Projects Fund is £20,000 and for the Main Fund is £50,000

    The first funding window of 2023 will open on Monday the 1st of May.

    There are two funds available to applying charities:

      • Small Fund – maximum award of £5,000

      • Medium Fund – maximum award of £10,000

    Using arts and creativity to engage children and young people has a huge impact on their learning, mental health and development, and builds their confidence and skills. Applications are being invited from projects and artists in your local area.
    Freelance artists can apply for funding up to £8k and organisations can apply for funding of up to £15k, to deliver up to 12 months of arts activity, and there is a total of £460k available.

    A new research study wants to find out how people in the NW Highlands feel about climate change and what your hopes are for effective climate action. The project is a partnership between the University of the Highlands and Islands and the Northwest 2045 network.
